From Oakland to Everywhere
Building Brands for Women Entrepreneurs Across the U.S. (and Right Here in the Bay Area)
For the first 20+ years of my business, all my clients were local (here in the San Francisco Bay Area). And all my meetings were in person. I used to schlep my portfolio to every meeting with a prospective client. And I’d always present drafts of my client’s business cards and letterhead in person. It’s incredible to think about now.
Today, thanks to Zoom, LinkedIn, and a strong referral network, I’m designing websites and building brand identities for women entrepreneurs from Maine to California—and even across the border in Canada (👋 Hi, Ontario!).
Zoom is possibly the only great thing to come out of quarantine. I can’t think of anything else I’d keep from that time. I never did video calls before 2020 and now I can’t imagine my work without it—both for making connections and for workflow. I can now work as easily with clients down the street as those thousands of miles away on the East Coast.
What’s geography?
In the past 18 months, I’ve partnered with amazing women coaches, consultants, and solopreneurs in:
San Francisco Bay Area (San Francisco, East Bay, North Bay, Peninsula)
Seattle
Chicago
Charlotte, NC (I’ve had 4 clients there and only 3 were connected)
New York
Vermont
Pennsylvania
Maine
Ontario, Canada
The Power of Connection
I haven't run a single paid ad or cold-pitched a stranger. My client base has grown entirely through:
Genuine connections made through my professional network
Sharing my thoughts and work on LinkedIn
A portfolio of branding and web design projects I'm proud to showcase
Why Distance Doesn't Matter
My design intensive format works seamlessly whether you're in Oakland or Ontario:
One 90-minute strategy call to capture your vision
Four focused meetings over 2 to 3 days where you provide feedback while I handle the design and copy
Complete brand and website delivery in under two weeks
Even with challenging time zones, we’re only coordinating schedules for a handful of meetings. The intensive approach means faster results and no months-long projects taking over your life.
Ready to get started?
If you're a woman entrepreneur ready for a premium brand and website—whether you're here in the San Francisco Bay Area or anywhere else—I'd love to connect. Please book a call!
For Oakland, Berkeley, San Francisco, and East Bay clients, we can even meet for coffee if you'd like. But honestly? Some of my best collaborations have happened entirely over Zoom.
